Medicare covers home health when four things are true
We check all four for you during the first phone call, and we coordinate the physician order.
You are under the care of a physician
A doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant orders home health and reviews the plan of care.
You need skilled care on an intermittent basis
Skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy, not full time custodial care.
Leaving home takes considerable effort
Medicare calls this homebound. Trips to the doctor, church, or the barber are still allowed.
The agency is Medicare certified
We are. Certified since December 2019, CCN 687026, and accredited by ACHC.
